I recently filed a separate resolution marking the 50th anniversary of the legendary album Born to Run, but today’s measure is about celebrating the man himself, and all he’s meant to generations who see their own hopes and struggles uplifted in his songs.” The resolution aims to highlight Springsteen’s extraordinary leadership of the E Street Band and his musical talent. He has received over 20 Grammy Awards and was a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his philanthropic efforts and success in the arts. For the full text of the resolution, click here.
