June 13, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC —On Friday, June 13, Congressman André Carson (IN-07) made the following statement: “ Earlier today, I warned that Israel’s military strikes were a dangerous escalation that put millions of lives at risk. I’m concerned at how quickly those dangers have accelerated, as reports show Iranian missiles have struck Israel in retaliation. Military aggression of this scale is not a viable solution and puts innocent civilians and our U.S. servicemembers at risk. I implore President Trump to push a diplomatic solution and work immediately, clearly, and decisively to de-escalate.
