Congressman JOE Morelle Honors Local Vietnam Veterans

Image March 18, 2025 Press Release Recognizes local veterans’ service and sacrifice ahead of National Vietnam War Veterans Day this month (Rochester, N.Y.)—Today, ahead of National Vietnam War Veterans Day, Congressman Joe Morelle recognized local Vietnam Veterans by presenting them with the Vietnam War Commemoration Lapel Pin in honor of their service. “As we approach National Vietnam War Veterans Day, I have the extraordinary privilege of presenting local veterans of the Vietnam War with lapel pins as a lasting memento of our country’s enduring gratitude,” said Congressman Morelle. “Our Vietnam Veterans were not always given the respect they deserved, but we have worked over the years, and will continue to work, to right those wrongs. The Vietnam War Commemoration lapel pins are awarded to veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces any time during the period of November 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975.
