REP. Correa Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for HART PARK Pickleball & Fitness Circuit
Project Funded by $2 Million Federal Earmark WASHINGTON — Yesterday, Representative Lou Correa (D-CA) celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Hart Park Pickleball and Fitness Circuit in the City of Orange. The new fitness area features 10 lighted courts, shade, seating, and outdoor fitness equipment, expanding recreational opportunities for the community. The project was funded by $2 million in federal funding secured by Congressman Correa. “The new pickleball courts and fitness circuit will provide a place for our community to gather and improve health and fitness,” Correa said. “I was pleased to secure federal funding for this project and will continue to prioritize projects that provide recreational opportunities for our seniors and other community members. I am grateful to the city and Mayor Slater for making this project a reality.” “Congressman Correa has been a champion for Orange, and this is yet one more example of that,” Mayor Dan Slater said. “These courts will be used and appreciated by Orange residents for many years to come.” Rep. Correa secured funds for this project through the FY22 community project funding process, during which the congressman secured $29.9 million for CA-46 projects. ### Print Email Share Tweet
