The United States must remain steadfast in its commitment to democracy rather than rewarding those who seek to dismantle it. For three years, President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine have bravely defended their sovereignty against Russia's unjust invasion. Their fight is not just for their nation—it is a fight for democracy, freedom, and the rule of law. It is in America's national security interest to stand with Ukraine until victory is achieved. I will continue to support efforts to provide Ukraine with the resources necessary to defend itself against tyranny.
