Boyle (PA-02) issued the following statement after voting in favor of a War Powers Resolution that would block further military action against Iran: “I voted for this War Powers Resolution because President Trump is p lunging us into another costly war in the Middle East without clear objectives, with a rationale that keeps shiftin g, and without an exit strategy . I will not support a half-baked plan that puts Americans in harm’s way and asks our service members to pay the price. Make no mistake. The Iranian regime is evil and it poses a threat. But spending billions of dollars on another war is not the best way to neutralize this threat. The American people don’t want billions of dollars spent on an unnecessary war .
