Congressman Harris Honors Retiring ATF Agent Darren Solomon

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Mark Harris (NC-08) spoke on the House floor to honor Darren Solomon on his retirement following 33 years of dedicated public service, including 26 years as a federal agent. In his remarks, Congressman Harris recognized Solomon’s unwavering patriotism and lifelong commitment to serving his country and community.

After 33 years of public service, including 26 years as a federal agent, he has officially retired. “As a Certified Fire Investigator, Darren spent years uncovering the truth behind how fires occurred and helping provide answers to families during some of their hardest moments. Beyond his own investigations, he dedicated himself to training fellow investigators and passing along his knowledge and expertise to the next generation. “Throughout his remarkable career, Darren has demonstrated unwavering patriotism, a deep love for his family, and a strong commitment to his community. “Thank you, Darren, for your service; it will never go unnoticed.
