Senator Blanco issued the following statement:
"West Texas is home to tens of thousands of veterans who have worn our nation’s uniform with
honor. These grants mean that more veterans and their families will have access to housing,
counseling, transportation, and other critical support right here in our communities. From El Paso
to the rural counties I represent, this funding will help ensure our veterans are not left behind
when they come home.
I’m grateful to the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance and to the local
organizations on the ground doing this important work. Together, we are honoring the service of
our veterans by making sure they and their families get the care and support they’ve earned.”
