WASHINGTON –Yesterday, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) held a press conference with U.S. Senator Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) and U.S. Representatives Trent Kelly (R-MS-1) and John Garamendi (D-CA-8) to discuss the introduction of theSHIPS for America Act, comprehensive legislation to revitalize America’s shipbuilding industry and help us keep pace with China.The members of Congress were joined by representatives of the shipbuilding industry, including Merchant Mariners and steelworkers.Video of the press conference is availablehere.
