"While cases involving celebrities like Taylor Swift have drawn national attention, countless women and young girls face devastating emotional, financial, and reputational harm from deepfake exploitation every day. "I was proud to lead a bipartisan effort supporting similar legislation, the Preventing Deepfakes of Intimate Images Act , which would establish both criminal and civil penalties for these heinous acts.
