Neal Statement on U.S.-U.K. Trade Deal

Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement on the U.S.-U.K. trade deal announced today: “The United States and the United Kingdom share a special and enduring relationship rooted in our common values, deep economic ties, and shared global interests. Any potential trade agreement must reflect those values and be crafted with care and transparency. While I continue to review the details, today’s agreement is not some new paradigm for trade policy, but trade agreements are crafted to their fullest potential when Congress is at the helm.” ###
