The statement comes amid news that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has ordered the deployment of an aircraft carrier to waters off Latin America. "Speaker Johnson is complicit in help ing Trump c ompletely ignore our Constitution by keeping the House on vacation rather than doing our jobs and debating whether we should be starting another war. We all want to stop drugs that come into our country , but Americans should not break the law to stop lawbreakers themselves . It’s putting our troops in a dangerous position.
