The legislation now returns to the House of Representatives, where Ranking Member Boyle will continue leading the fight against this devastating legislation. “Senate Republicans have betrayed the American people. Republicans want to strip health care from nearly 17 million Americans, including more than 450,000 in Pennsylvania. If this bill becomes law, hospitals and nursing homes across Pennsylvania will shut down, and entire communities will be left behind. Even with all these devastating cuts, this bill would add trillions to the deficit and be one of the most expensive bills Congress has ever considered, all so Republicans can give billionaires a massive tax break.
