Rep. Clyde Leads Fight to Overturn More Than a Dozen Biden-Era Rules, Saving +$100 Billion
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) introduced more than a dozen Congressional Review Act (CRA) joint resolutions of disapproval to overturn various Biden-era regulations. The move applies to 13 rules that are eligible for congressional review under the CRA’s lookback period, which provides Congress an additional review period to introduce joint resolutions of disapproval for rules submitted within the last few months of a President’s outgoing term. According to data from the American Action Forum, the total estimated savings of overturning these regulations is roughly $105 billion. “This past November, the American people overwhelmingly rejected the Biden-Harris Administration’s destructive policies,” said Clyde . “As President Trump works rapidly to get our country back on track, Congress must do the same by swiftly overturning costly, misguided Biden-era regulations.” Full List of Biden-Era Rules & Accompanying CRAs : Postsecondary Student Success Grant CRA Text Quality Control Standards for Automated Valuation Models CRA Text Form N-PORT and Form N-CEN Reporting; Guidance on Open-End Fund Liquidity Risk Management Programs CRA Text Energy Conservation Program for Appliance Standards: Certification Requirements, Labeling Requirements, and Enforcement Provisions for Certain Consumer Products and Commercial Equipment CRA Text New Source Performance Standards Review for Volatile Organic Liquid Storage Vessels (Including Petroleum Liquid Storage Vessels) CRA Text Oil and Gas and Sulfur Operations in the Outer Continental Shelf-High Pressure High Temperature Updates CRA Text National Primary Drinking Water Regulations for Lead and Copper: Improvements (LCRI) CRA Text Medicare Program; Calendar Year (CY) 2025 Home Health Prospective Payment System (HH PPS) Rate Update; HH Quality Reporting Program Requirements; HH Value-Based Purchasing Expanded Model Requirements; Home Intravenous Immune Globulin (IVIG) Items and Services Rate Update; and Other Medicare Policies CRA Text Reconsideration of the Dust-Lead Hazard Standards and Dust-Lead Post-Abatement Clearance Levels CRA Text Decabromodiphenyl Ether and Phenol, Isopropylated Phosphate (3:1); Revision to the Regulation of Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic Chemicals Under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA ) CRA Text Anti-Money Laundering Regulations for Residential Real Estate Transfers CRA Text Financial Crimes Enforcement Network: Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism Program and Suspicious Activity Report Filing Requirements for Registered Investment Advisers and Exempt Reporting Advisers CRA Text Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program CRA Text
