Rep. Barry Moore announces winners of 2026 Congressional Art Competition

April 28, 2026 Press Release Washington, D.C.- Today, Congressman Barry Moore (AL-01) announced the winners of the 2026 Congressional Art Competition for Alabama’s First Congressional District. Each spring, the Congressional Art Competition highlights the creativity of students nationwide, with winning artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. Entries from Alabama’s First District showcased a wide range of talent, imagination, and technical skill, reflecting the depth of young artists in the region. “This competition is one of my favorite traditions in Congress because it shines a light on the incredible talent we have right here at home,” said Rep. Barry Moore. “These students represent the very best of Alabama’s creativity and work ethic. This is a tremendous honor for Anabelle, our overall first place winner, who will have her artwork displayed in our nation’s Capitol, where millions of visitors will have the chance to see her painting over the next year.
