October 7, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON— On the second anniversary of the October 7 th terrorist attack in Israel, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) released a statement honoring the lives lost and reaffirming America’s commitment to defending its greatest ally in the Middle East. Congressman Bean’s statement: “Two years ago today, Hamas exposed its evil in a savage, unprovoked assault on Israel. These brutalists murdered more than 1,200 innocent men, women, and children, and took 251 hostages. For 732 days, families have endured unimaginable pain waiting for the safe return of their loved ones. 48 hostages remain in captivity, and their release is long overdue. I commend President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu for securing the release of hostages through ceasefire agreements and applaud the 20-point plan currently under negotiation that offers a path to end the conflict, brings every hostage home, and restores lasting stability in the region.
