Senator Alsobrooks Rallies with SEIU on Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON, DC– Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-MD) joined SEIU President April Verrett, 1199 President George Gresham, and dozens of SEIU members on Capitol Hill today to rally against this Administration’s attacks on Medicaid.
“Cuts to Medicaid would devastate so many Marylanders,”said Senator Alsobrooks. “It would disrupt care for 64% of nursing home residents in Maryland. The threats this Administration has made against Maryland families is shameful. I know I won’t stand for it, and I know the members of SEIU won’t stand for it. Together, we will protect Medicaid and fight for our workers.”
