Rep. Rogers Announces Support of Pro-Law Enforcement Measures During National Police Week

WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (AL-03) today announced his support for several pieces of pro-law enforcement legislation in the 119th Congress in recognition of National Police Week. Rep. Rogers frequently collaborates with Alabama law enforcement officials and has been a staunch supporter of law enforcement throughout his time in Congress. “Support for law enforcement has long been a bedrock issue for me throughout my time in Congress,” said Rep. Rogers. “Every year during National Police Week, we recognize our brave law enforcement officers and the challenges they face every day. Police officers have faced demonization by the far left for years, but with President Trump’s policies and a Republican Congress, they can know they are supported in Washington. I’m proud to announce my support for several pieces of pro-police legislation today in recognition of this week and in honor of officers’ tireless efforts to keep our communities safe.” Rep. Rogers has supported the following pieces of legislation in the 119 th Congress: H. RES. 1252 - Resolution memorializing law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. H. R. 2853 - Combating Organized Retail Crime Act of 2025. H.R.2267 - NICS Data Reporting Act of 2026 H.R.8352 - Criminal History Access Act of 2026 H.R.6260 - Keeping Violent Offenders Off Our Streets Act of 2025 H.R.5625 - Cashless Bail Reporting Act H. CON. RES. 96 - Expressing support for law enforcement officers. ###
