Hoeven: FAA Awards $4.7 Million for New Hangar at Williston Airport
WILLISTON, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $4.7 million to the City of Williston through the Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) program. As a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has worked to secure strong federal investments in airport infrastructure to support North Dakota communities. The funding will be used to construct a new 9,600-square-foot aircraft hangar for storage and maintenance at Williston Basin International Airport. “This investment will help support Williston Airport’s ability to serve the region while enhancing its operational and financial capacity,” said Hoeven. “The new hangar will enhance airport operations, generate additional revenue and help meet the needs of North Dakota’s growing economy.” -###-
