Hoeven: DOT Awards More than $26 Million for I-94 Repairs, ND 1804 Rail-Highway Safety Project
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded two grants totaling more than $26 million for transportation repair and safety projects in North Dakota. As a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee in the 118th Congress, Hoeven worked to fund and advance the projects. The funding is made available under the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability & Equity (RAISE) grant program and includes:
“This $26 million in federal funding will empower NDDOT to make needed improvements and repairs along I-94 and ND 1804,” said Hoeven. “These efforts will enhance safety, provide more reliable transportation for local residents and travelers and help ensure these roadways can better meet the demands on our economy.”
