LaMonica McIver (NJ-10) released the following statement on the Senate passage of the Republican continuing resolution: "The Republican continuing resolution that just passed the Senate is exactly what House Democrats have been fighting against all along. It was a bad bill when I voted against it earlier this week, and it’s still a bad bill today. It cuts $13 billion in social service programs for our communities, and gives Trump and Musk a blank check to further their dangerous agenda and continue wreaking havoc. I am beyond disappointed to see my colleagues in the Senate bend the knee to Republicans and force the American people to bear the consequences.” ### Print Email Share Previous Article Next Article About Contact Media Issues Services
