Thompson Releases Statement on Senate Funding BILL

November 10, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) released the following statement in response to the Senate’s funding bill: “The Senate’s bill is a bad deal for the American people,” said Thompson . “This bill fails to prevent Americans’ health care premiums from skyrocketing and it fails to reverse the President and Congressional Republicans’ devastating cuts to Medicaid. It also kicks the can down the road for our farmers, failing to deliver a Farm Bill 2.0 that serves our ag community’s needs.
