Rep. Balint Votes to Release the Epstein Files

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Becca Balint (VT-AL) released the following statement after voting YES on H.R. 4405 to release the Epstein files: “Powerful men protect powerful men, including all those around Jeffrey Epstein. My vote today to release the Epstein files will bring transparency, accountability, truth, and justice to the thousands of survivors who have waited far too long. We are sending a message to all victims of trafficking and sex abuse that we stand with you. We stand with you in the face of intimidation, and the rich and powerful men who have enabled the abuse. The American people deserve to see what’s in the files. The Senate must send this to the President’s desk immediately.” ###
