Ranking Members Wilson, Larsen Statement on the Trump Administration’s Latest Attack on Clean Water

November 17, 2025 Press Release Today, Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment Frederica Wilson (D-FL) and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Rick Larsen (D-WA) released the following joint statement in response to the notice of proposed rulemaking to weaken Clean Water Act protections: “Americans overwhelmingly support the Clean Water Act—one of the most successful pieces of environmental legislation in history.
