Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-25) issued the following statement on today's votes by the U.S. House of Representatives on crypto legislation: “Today, I was proud to support the GENIUS Act as a significant first step towards responsible and effective regulation of the cryptocurrency industry. Although I was unable to support the CLARITY Act at this time, I hope that the bill that returns from the Senate will incorporate the necessary changes and safeguards that would enable me to support it.” ####
