Rep. Crane Introduces Bill to Rename Ash Fork Post Office in Honor of Fayrene Hume
On Friday, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) introduced H.R. 4919 to designate the post office at 765 West Old Route 66 in Ash Fork, Arizona, as the “Fayrene Hume Post Office.” Mrs. Hume was a longtime public servant who founded the Ash Fork Historical Society and Museum. She was a dedicated historian and an instrumental force in driving economic and educational development in Ash Fork. This legislation honors the extraordinary service of this beloved community member and serves as a lasting tribute to her outstanding contributions. “Fayrene Hume understood the importance of pursuing mission over comfort and tirelessly worked to support the Ash Fork community,” said Rep.
