The money comes from the Federal Aviation Association’s Contract Tower Program, which was funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which Senator Rosen helped write and pass. This funding will support the construction and operation of the new Air Traffic Control Tower. “As the third busiest airport in Nevada, Boulder City Municipal Airport plays an integral role in helping sustain Southern Nevada’s economy,” said Senator Rosen. “It’s critical we do all we can to ensure the safety and efficiency of Nevada’s gateways, which is why I am glad I could help secure this federal funding for Boulder City’s airport. I will continue pushing across the aisle and make sure that Nevada’s airports have all they need to keep the state’s travel industry running smoothly.” Senator Rosen has been a champion for Nevada’s airports. Last year, she secured more than $18 million in federal funding for Nevada’s airports, including more than $2.3 million for infrastructure improvements at Boulder City Airport. Just this year, Senator Rosen helped secure $20 million in federal funding to support renovations at Reno-Tahoe International Airport, as well as $9 million in federal funding for Harry Reid International Airport. She played a leading role in 2021 in helping to draft the airports section of the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law . ### Facebook-f Instagram Youtube Flickr Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos
