Streamlining American Manufacturing Strategy Act is Senator Blunt Rochester’s First Bill Signed into Law
Washington, D.C. –In case you missed it,U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.), a member of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee,celebrated her bipartisan and bicameralStreamlining American Manufacturing Strategy Actbecoming law. The legislation amends theNational Institute of Standards and Technology Actto align the timelines for multiple advanced manufacturing initiatives to every four years on the same cycle. This is the first bill introduced by Senator Blunt Rochester in the Senate to become law.
“TheStreamlining American Manufacturing Strategy Actwill ensure greater efficiency in our manufacturing sector. I’m proud that it is my first bill to become law as a member of the Senate,”said Senator Blunt Rochester. “This effort was directly inspired by Delawareans who shared concerns with my office. I’m grateful to Senator Budd for his bipartisan partnership, as well as Representatives Rivas and Rouzer for their work in the House. This is a major step toward revitalizing American manufacturing and boosting domestic competitiveness among manufacturers.”
