Highs and Lows: What We Learned in Shutdown Week Two

Hey, I am here today with a group from Utah State University, the Stephen R. Covey Leadership Center. Normally, that would be my high because these are pretty amazing students that I’m with. But there’s a big deal this week with a hopeful peace treaty in Gaza that just sounds very, very promising. And I don’t know anybody on any side of this that doesn’t really hope and pray that that comes together and is successful. So that’s my high. Well, you all know what the low is. It’s a government shutdown. Shutdowns stink. This is really, really bad. Really embarrassing that we’re so dysfunctional. Hopefully, soon we’ll be able to announce that we’re getting out of it. Hope you all have a good weekend. Read Newsletter
