Congressman Flood Seeks Answers for National Weather Service Staffing Challenges

Image March 26, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement following news that the National Weather Service (NWS) was facing staffing challenges in Nebraska. “Over the years, the National Weather Service has issued regular weather forecasts across the country. Recent reporting has indicated that their offices in Nebraska have experienced staffing challenges that are impacting their ability to provide high quality forecasts. I’ve reached out to the NWS to learn more about this issue.
