The commitment comes in direct response to Goodlander’s June 11 oversight letter demanding answers and accountability for the company’s abrupt move to deny service to customers in more than half a dozen New Hampshire towns, including Franklin, Canterbury and Northfield. “For months, communities across our Lakes Region have been left in limbo after being blindsided by Liberty Utilities,” said Congresswoman Goodlander . “The company is finally owning up to what its New Hampshire customers have known all along: relief cannot wait. While this is progress, it is not enough. We need a permanent solution and real accountability. I won’t stop working until we get both.” In a written response to Goodlander, Liberty committed to deploying a portable liquified natural gas (LNG) tank to supplement system supply, with permanent infrastructure upgrades to be made.
