Sykes’ Statement on Release of Newly Drawn Congressional Maps in Ohio WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) released the following statement after Ohio’s Democratic State House and Senate leaders introduced a bill to redraw congressional districts ahead of the 2026 election. “The voters of Ohio's 13th Congressional District elected me to fight for lower costs, put more money in their pockets, and to keep our children and families safe. Continuing the work my constituents asked me to do remains my priority. As the redistricting process plays out my hope is that legislators in both parties work together to put forward a map that allows voters to choose their elected officials and not the other way around,” said Rep.
