Fedorchak celebrates Taiwan ag commitment, boosting markets for North Dakota soybeans and corn

September 18, 2025 Press Release Taiwan pledges $10 billion in U.S. ag purchases Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) joined the Taiwan-U.S. Agricultural Trade Goodwill Mission at the U.S. Capitol, where Taiwan announced a $10 billion commitment to purchase American agricultural products between 2025 and 2028. The agreement includes soybeans, corn, wheat, and beef and represents a 25 percent increase in Taiwan’s annual U.S. ag purchases. “North Dakota produces some of the highest quality products in the world, and Taiwan’s commitment is a big win for our soybean, corn, and wheat growers as well as beef producers,” Fedorchak said. “When I meet with folks back home, expanding market opportunities is top of mind.
