Capito Votes to Confirm Jamieson Greer as U.S. Trade Representative

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) issued the following statement after voting to confirm Jamieson Greer to serve as United States Trade Representative (USTR):
“West Virginia workers and businesses count on the USTR to advocate for them and secure the best deal possible around the world. Our West Virginia economy, especially in the manufacturing sector, needs someone ready to help us compete at every level in every market. I believe that Jamieson Greer is that person and holds the knowledge and skills that this position demands.
