As your newest United States Senator, I will keep fighting to protect every taxpayer dollar. It is a slap in the face to hard working Americans every time we uncover another case of fraudsters benefiting off the backs of taxpayers. I am committed to working alongside my colleagues to expose fraud, strengthen accountability, and deliver meaningful solutions,” said Senator Ashley Moody. BACKGROUND Senator Moody has always been committed to combating fraud and protecting taxpayer dollars. Just in the last week, Senator Moody: Introduced the Stop Child Care Scams Act to fight fraud in federal child care programs; and Introduced the STOP Scams Against Seniors Act to protect seniors from scams and financial fraud. Members of the Senate Anti-Fraud Task Force include Senators Moody, Schmitt, Marshall, Britt, Ricketts, Blackburn, Sheehy, Johnson, and Tuberville.
