Although the Pentagon has reported that the Defense Casualty Analysis System (DCAS) is accurate and “regularly updated,” the senators raised inconsistencies both in overall casualty and injury reporting since the beginning of the conflict, and especially during the month of July. “The American people, Congress, service members, and their families are entitled to a full and accurate accounting of the human costs of war. The information currently available to the public suggests that the Department has not consistently provided timely and comprehensive public casualty reporting throughout the conflict,” wrote the senators. “Both the total casualties and the monthly July casualty data still do not reflect the Department’s public acknowledgement on July 20th of nearly 100 additional injuries in July.” “From the start of Operation Epic Fury in February 2026, this administration has failed to provide timely updates on the military readiness, personnel, and financial impacts of this war,” the senators continued. “This lack of transparency undermines confidence that military families and the American people are receiving a complete and accurate accounting of the sacrifices made by those serving in uniform.” Read the full letter HERE . Senator Rosen has demanded more transparency from the Trump Administration regarding the war in Iran and has advocated for the rights of Iranian civilians. She recently joined Senate colleagues in demanding answers from the Department of Defense over the tragic U.S. bombing of an Iranian elementary school in February. Senator Rosen has also voted for every War Powers Resolution to remove U.S. troops from Iran since the beginning of the war earlier this year. During a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing this June, Senator Rosen pressed Secretary of State Marco Rubio over his absence from Iran negotiations. ### Facebook-f Instagram Youtube Flickr Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos
