This is yet another shutdown caused by my colleagues across the aisle, who have refused to fund DHS despite having reached a funding agreement in January. Congress’s job is to serve the American people, and holding up this funding for political points is irresponsible.” “It is Congress’s duty to ensure that federal employees are paid while they work hard to safeguard our nation.
