Schiff secures federal funding for critical investments to support climate resiliency and infrastructure
Imperial Valley, CA–Today, U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) is announcing he secured more than $6 million in federal funding for critical Imperial Valley projects that support key climate resiliency and community infrastructure investments in Brawley and Imperial. The funding is part of the $254,457,366 in total federal funding Schiff delivered for California for the 2026 fiscal year, with the passage of recent funding bills.
“I’m proud to have fought for and delivered more than $6 million in federal dollars for Brawley and Imperial, part of hundreds of millions in federal investments directed to California in my first year in the U.S. Senate,”said Senator Schiff.“This funding will restore the Bombay Beach Wetlands, improve community infrastructure, and help new projects break ground, improving lives for those in the El Centro area.
