Congressman Van Drew Urges Secretary Duffy to Investigate Potential Ties Between TransCore and the CCP

Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Van Drew sent a letter to Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy urging the Department of Transportation to investigate TransCore, the company that awarded the E-ZPass contract for New Jersey, over potential ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). "I believe there is enough evidence here to warrant a deeper look," said Congressman Van Drew. "When it comes to national security, especially regarding critical infrastructure like our roadways, we simply cannot afford to take any chances. If there is even a possibility of foreign influence or interference, we need to investigate it fully. I urge Secretary Duffy to take immediate action and conduct a thorough investigation into TransCore's ownership structure and international relationships to ensure that the company's operations align with American security interests. Our national security must always remain our top priority." Click here to read the letter. Click here to read the previous release with more information on this issue.
