<p><strong>LODI, NJ —&nbsp;</strong>Today, January 19, 2026, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined with the Boys &amp; Girls Club of Lower Bergen County and the community in Lodi for a day of service to package essential items for families and individuals in need.</p>

<p>The event was held at the Boys &amp; Girls Club of Lower Bergen County’s Lodi Clubhouse and brought together volunteers to honor Dr. King’s legacy of service.</p>

<p>“As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy, we’re reminded that service to others is one of the most powerful ways to uphold his vision,”&nbsp;<strong>said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5).</strong>&nbsp;“Today was about coming together as a community to help our neighbors and make a real difference for those who need it most. I’m grateful to the Boys &amp; Girls Club of Lower Bergen County and every volunteer who stepped up to serve.”</p>

<p>Gottheimer was joined by Joseph Licata, CEO of the Boys &amp; Girls Club of Lower Bergen County, and local volunteers.</p>
