Unfortunately, they spent the past year firing or forcing out thousands of them. Elon Musk took a wrecking ball to the federal workforce, hollowing out career expertise and replacing it with DOGE bros and chaos. In the process, critical institutional knowledge was lost, and Americans’ personal information was put at risk.
