Moreno Applauds Senate Confirmation of Southern District Judge Byrne

WASHINGTON – Today, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) praised the Senate confirmation of Matthew Byrne to be a U.S. District Court judge for the Southern District of Ohio. “Judge Byrne has devoted his entire career to vigorously defending the Constitution and tirelessly fighting for the people of Ohio,” said Senator Moreno. “He has served our nation with unwavering integrity and dedication, and I am confident he will continue to uphold the highest standards of justice as the U.S. District Court judge for the Southern District of Ohio.” The Southern District Court functions as a federal trial court, resolving legal conflicts involving federal laws and the U.S. Constitution. The court serves over five million citizens across 48 counties.
