Homegrown solutions

Gas prices impact the cost of literally everything: We use gas to transport food from the farm to the store. We use gas to deliver your latest online shopping spree. We use gas to get our kids to and from school every day. We need to do something to lower gas costs – and in Iowa, we have a homegrown solution. E15 can provide a cheaper option at the pump for any Iowan on the road. That’s why I cosponsored new legislation to unleash this homegrown, all-American energy source by allowing year-round, nationwide sales of E15. This will lower prices for families and as a bonus, support Iowa’s corn farmers. Bottom Line: There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to energy, and I’m committed to ensuring families, like yours and mine, have options at the pump to fit their needs.
