Kelly Celebrates Passage of Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month Resolution

U.S. Senators Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Rick Scott (R-FL), and Senate colleagues passed a resolution recognizing and celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which takes place every year from September 15 th to October 15 th . Hispanic Heritage Month honors the contributions that the Hispanic and Latino communities have made to American achievements, culture, and history. “Arizona’s Hispanic community has shaped our state and made it stronger. They’re small business owners, teachers, servicemembers, community leaders, and hardworking families who contribute to Arizona every day,” said Kelly . “Hispanic Heritage Month is a chance to celebrate those contributions and recognize the generations of Hispanic Arizonans who have made our state what it is today.” “The Hispanic community in the United States is an integral part of the American story,” said Cortez Masto . “This month is an opportunity to reflect on the progress made by Latinos, celebrate our accomplishments, and continue building a better future.
