Senators Justice, Capito Visit CAMC Memorial Hospital to Highlight $15M in CDS Funds

CHARLESTON, WV – Today, Senator Jim Justice and Senator Shelley Moore Capito visited CAMC Memorial to highlight $15 million in Congressionally Directed Spending that they secured for critical equipment, technical infrastructure upgrades, and cybersecurity technology for Vandalia Health. “Taking care of West Virginians starts with making sure our hospitals have the tools to do the job right. This $15 million will help Vandalia Health and CAMC make critical upgrades to its equipment and technology, strengthen its infrastructure, and put better protections in place to keep patients’ personal health information out of the hands of bad actors. This is a win for Vandalia Health, a win for Charleston, and most importantly, a win for patients and families,” said Senator Jim Justice . “It is great to be in Charleston today, celebrating such a wonderful achievement. This CDS award represents a significant investment in the strength of our hospital network, prioritizing the safety, care, and privacy of patients.
