Washington, D.C.— Today, U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas), a member of the House Budget and Ways and Means Committees, released the following statement after Republicans failed to advance their own budget reconciliation bill: “Even some Republicans realized that Trump’s ‘one big beautiful bill’ is an ugly lie atop a mountain of lies and dangerous trillions of additional national debt.
