Mrvan Statement on the Presidential Inauguration
January 20, 2025 Press Release Washington, DC – Congressman Frank J. Mrvan released the following statement on today’s Presidential Inauguration. “Today, we witnessed the peaceful transfer of power in our democracy, and as we move forward, I continue to remain willing to work with the Administration and all interested parties at all levels of government for the benefit of the constituents of Indiana’s First Congressional District. Further, as a member of the House Appropriations Committee, I look forward to getting to work and quickly completing the long-overdue legislation to fund the government for Fiscal Year 2025. We must also not delay in commencing the necessary oversight and direction required to draft Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations legislation that will fund federal programs and agencies that keep our communities and our nation safe, and create more opportunities for work and wealth for everyone.” ###
