On the Ground in Tinian with the Mayor’s Office

May 1, 2026 Newsletters Image I made my way to Tinian to see the impact of the storm on my home island and started with a visit to Mayor Edwin Aldan and his team. We talked through the extent of the damage, how this compares to the effects of Super Typhoon Yutu, and the work ahead to rebuild. It is clear the Mayor and his team know what needs to be done. The focus now is making sure their needs are clearly communicated and that the resources are there to support the work. Thank you, Mayor, and to your team for leading from the front.
