Congressman Krishnamoorthi Responds To Ceasefire & Hostage Release Agreement Between Israel And Hamas

January 15, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON-- Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi issued the following statement in response to the announcement of an agreement between Israel and Hamas " I welcome the announcement of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas which will lead to the release of some of the remaining hostages while leaving open the possibility of a negotiated end to the war.  We must build upon this progress to ensure the return of all hostages and the provision of humanitarian relief to Gaza. I hope that this ceasefire holds as we continue to pursue a durable two-state solution that will allow Israelis and Palestinians to live in security, prosperity, and peace."
