January 14, 2026 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) announced that she was under federal investigation for filming a video urging military service members to refuse “illegal orders.” In response to the Trump administration’s continuous weaponization of the federal government, Michigan Congresswoman Haley Stevens released the following statement: “Elissa Slotkin is a patriot who has dedicated herself to serving our country.
